I got this in anticipation of our next road trip vacation.
My Boxer/ Cane Corso cross has sore hips.
He can also be a bit anxious on prolonged car rides.
This product gives him better footing so he is less nervous.
The extra width provided by the rigid base which extends out past the edge of the backseat, provides a more comfortable space for a large dog like him, that needs to stretch out.
My only complaint is that the one size fits most vehicles, doesn’t fit my compact SUV to a tee but I consider that to be minor.
Overall, great product!

My dogs love this and the 3 of them are no longer crowded! Increases the space, keeps the dog hair contained and is easy to sweep out. Love it.

My 2 dogs were very comfortable on the 4 hour trip to our cottage. Our SUV has 2 separate seats in the back and they used to have a difficult time getting settled with bags and suitcases around them. I put 2 beds in and an old blanket for them to lay on and it was a great trip for all of us.
Now we don’t have a console copilot he can look out of the side window instead.

Having had a sling-type pet seat cover before, I knew I wanted and needed something sturdier for our new puppy. Once I figured out how it goes together it works great. I didn't realize there are pockets one needs to slide the panels in. instructions would have been helpful.
the dog feels quite comfortable now, although it seems a bit harder for him to jump into the car now. We're working on that.
